SERVICES
EVALUATION AND CONSULTATION SESSION
The first appointment is a consultation and is meant to determine whether an ongoing treatment relationship fits your needs. If mutually agreed upon, follow up sessions can be scheduled and the formal treatment relationship will commence. Our psychiatrists and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners primarily see adults from ages 18 and older for consultation, psychotherapy, and medication management.
Our psychiatrists also provide psychiatric evaluations required for certain surgeries. Please call our office for more details.
Our practice does NOT do formal disability evaluations or fill out disability paperwork. We can, however, send your records wherever you would like at your request.
We do NOT do ADHD testing at this time. For patients seeking these services, we encourage them to reach out to local psychologists in the area who provide psychological testing.
INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES, AND FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPY
Our providers have knowledge and experience in supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational enhancement therapy, and a variety of other psychotherapeutic techniques.
We now offer individual Walk & Talk Therapy. Limited spots are available. Call our office for more details or to reserve your spot!
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our clinicians have extensive experience in the medication management of psychiatric disease. While not everyone will benefit from or desire to use medication as a part of their treatment plan, at times medication can be extremely helpful in alleviating psychological distress.
We are firm believers that medication should only be used when necessary and maintained at the lowest doses possible to achieve successful results. Because of this, we do NOT prescribe controlled medications including Xanax, Klonopin, Adderall, Vyvanse, etc.
TRANS-CRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION
For patients with medication-resistant depression, or those trying to avoid medications, we now offer trans-cranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS is a safe, FDA-approved, non-drug treatment for severe depression. For patients who have tried multiple medications, it is usually covered by insurance companies for severe depression.
If you would like to see if you are appropriate for TMS or learn more information about out TMS program, please call our office or ask your provider about it at your next visit.
GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY
Working in groups is a great way to improve wellbeing, learning together and from each other. Due to overwhelmingly positive patient feedback, we have expanded our group program. Each group lasts one hour. At this time our groups are open which means that new member can join whenever they would like and the groups do not end on a particular date.
All groups have a limited number of spots available. Group topics and times are subject to change based on patient interest and the needs of our community. Please contact our office if you have any suggestions for future group topics or would like to join a current group.
